Guy VANBELLE
( born in 1931 at Paris )
He studied at the Beaux-Arts at Versailles, at Saint-Nazaire, and at the Académie de Port-Royal de Paris.
He obtained a diploma from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers.
His works are exhibited in all the major Paris Salons, notably that of the Artistes Français of which he is secretary.
Guy Vanbelle expresses himself through the medium of strong colours, where the shake has less importance than the colours that he uses to emphasise the light, and to give his pictures a lifelike quality.
This colourist artist paints with feeling and sensitivity towards his subject giving an accurate and spontaneous result.
He exhibits regularby in the major cities of France.
