As a great draftsman and a passionate colorist, Claude Sauzet takes part in the great adventure of painting accomplishing a work full of poetry and music that enlightens our heart. The idealized female figure is sublimated in symbolic compositions where she appears either in the intimacy of a room, against the full light of a garden or in a complete abstract environment. Whatever the subject, the whole painting is treated in hot colors of emerald and lavender in which light holds a dominating place.
A graduate of the School of Arts of Nimes, Claude Sauzet is a member of shows
like Salon d'Automne, Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, Salon des Artistes
Français and reveived many prizes and awards.
